Let’s understand how Anne charges for her gifts and talents.  For an entire “power day” Anne can quote an exact $2400.00 plus travel.  

For essentially all other endeavors (speaking & consulting), there is much more involved in making a cost determination.  For speaking engagements there is a base rate and final determination on cost is based on some (or all) of the following factors:

1. Is this a brand new workshop (speech, etc.) or one Anne has done before and will Anne able to offer in essentially the same way or with minor modifications?
   
   
2. Will the audience be willing participants?
   
   
3. What is the expected number of participants? It takes far more energy to work with a group of 100 or 200 (for a workshop, for example) than a group of 35.  The number and demographics of people who will be in attendance is important.
   
   
4. Is this part of a series of workshops/seminars or is it a stand-alone? Anne can work with people over longer periods of time - developing relationships and building community and trust. When people are interested in that as well, they receive a different price than those who want a one-shot event. It requires different preparation and energy levels.
   
   
5. Will Anne be working out of the area, then I take the following into consideration:

• Time zones crossed (more of an issue as I get older!) I add a certain amount for each time zone I hop.
  
  
• Ease or difficulty in travel (flying all the way across the country in one plane vs. hopping 3 different planes, taking a bus, then renting a car to even get 1/3 of the way across the country).

Many variables are taken into consideration when working out a final price for the services.
